If you have an opinion on the best seats for the NHRA event this weekend please chime in. Have never been there before and don't know if east is better than west, etc.
Thanks

There are no bad seats. Just depends if you like to sit closer to the starting line or to the finish line.

It was great! Got tickets in the John Force grand stand in Section D, Row 29 which is directly in line with the starting line. Good place if you really enjoy the burnouts
But, the sun was baking us full in the face so we went over to the general admission side and took some seats further down where we weren't shoulder to shoulder with people and the sun was more to our backs and side.
Experiencing a 312 mph run was awesome.
Overall we had a fantastic day and I got two huge banners off the fences to hang in my garage. I saw people cutting down the banners so made sure to ask a security guy about it and he said "go for it" as it's a traditional thing. Glad I always carry a jack-knife as it came in handy to cut through the zip ties.
I would have to agree that there isn't a bad seat in the house. Just be prepared with hats and sun block because it's brutal out there in the sun on a hot day. Also glad I brought a small cooler full of drinks and stuffed with ice.
We hung around after and went to the "Winners Circle". It's fun because you are up close to the racing celebs and they toss out t-shirts and stuff to the crowd.
Overall an A+ day.

Cool. I was a little below you in Section D Row 18. I got a chance to be in the pits for the Cruz Pedregon Funny Car when they had just put the engine back together and fired it up. Nothin' like a snootful of nitro to complete the experience.
