Admission is just $20 per passenger vehicle . . . There are several affordable Carolina Christmas sponsorship opportunities available for area businesses . . . Businesses interested in advertising at Carolina Christmas should contact . . . .
Seems like admission ought to be free if it's supported by advertising. I'm not too fond of paying money to be subjected to ads.
If they really want to be green and save an additional 12,000 kilowatt hours of electricity they just have it during the day and not have to use lights.
I think its a great idea, if there's a market for it (which there should), this should be a great moneymaker..I just hope they do it up right for the people shelling out $20....
But its true like others have said that people should be ashamed labeling this as "green" because even w/the LED lights you still are bringing in tons of cars which is eliminating the effect of going "green"....
I dunno, this sounds pretty offensive to someone, somewhere...
Ok I thought about it and I do see negative impact.
Concord Mills Blvd is already a mess during the holidays now there is going to be added stop & Go Traffic similar to a Race Day only thing different it going to be mess til closing.
I assume Concord Police extra hours less force patrolling the street. and probably Cabarrus county sheriff office patroling event again less staff on the street. I see threads on here of residents who live there complaining about the traffic & noise but they are ones who chose to live near CMS and the mall.
Benefit the workers who work during the race will probably gain better access to jobs related to this event and others who live near there seeking employment.
Will they allow traffic go single file or two cars at a time.
I would rather they let everyone to park & either ride rick shaws & carriages or walk and allow vendors to setup.
It should be fun and will impact Charlotte residents who use to drive to Festival of Lights in Tanglewood.
