2010 Charlotte Garden Tour
Mission: Educate the public on community gardening efforts, share information with other gardens and network with interested community member.
Learn: Composting, harvesting rainwater, cooking, seed saving, and making tea with dry mint
Eat: Lunch provided by Harvest Moon Grille at the Hope Haven garden and a Garden Gathering including beverages and light hors d’oeuvres will follow the tour at the Friendship Trays garden

The Mecklenburg County Fruit & Vegetable Coalition, in partnership with Slow Food Charlotte, invite you to join us for the our first annual Can You Dig It, Charlotte Community Garden Tour.

It's the last day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere, the beginning of the autumn season and it perfectly coincides with a full moon tonight. And it's the first time in almost 20 years that the stars have aligned for an event like this. (We fully acknowledge that the moon is not a star but it's not very often we get to use the phrase in such close context).
