* Mooresville * FOUND DOG (Norman: HOA, home, subdivision)

My neighbor found a dog earlier today in the Harris Village subdivision (just outside of downtown M'ville on Hwy 3). An alert was sent out to our homeowners & animal control just picked it up.

It's a male...small terrier...short haired...brown & white...possibly a Jack Russell. I didn't see the dog myself. If you know of anyone in the area that lost a dog fitting this discription, call animal control.

LKN has the picture on their website. When i first read ur post i got really excited because it had brown and white dog found outside of mooresville on hwy 3. I lost a chihuahua on hwy 3 she is very small and brown and white. we lost her on oct 28, 2011. i'm beginnning to lose hope. she is long haired and very much purebred. anyone would love to have her and not take her to animal control. i have contacted all of them in our area no one has seen her. i have posted alot of flyers around my home and only have had 2 calls with alittle help but no sightings. if you hear anything Please let me know. her name is Molly Anne.

So sorry about your dog! My post is from Sept. of 2010, not recently. Is the photo of Molly Anne on Lake Norman Mommies? I can ask around Harris Village for you. PM me with your info, I can have our HOA send out an email blast. We get lots of lost dogs in here.

Just an FYI for lost dogs. We found ours after five days of searching hours on end, by auto, foot and bikes. Don't give up. We placed about 1500 fliers in mailboxes and stores. Placed ads on Craiglist too. We were getting phone calls from three miles away, people saying they saw him.

Turns out, he was only one mile away, in a trailer park community. I spotted him just as I entered the community, on the fifth day. People in the community were feeding him, so he stuck around. Don't give up!
