My wife and I are really excited about it. I hope it as fun as we think it will be.

So who is going and who has been in the past? What should we look for? What are the best things to do?

I plan on going with the wife. We missed it last year but now we live down the street from it. I am hoping for some good food and good entertainment.

The people watching alone is worth the tkt.

I love the guy in the leather suit that looks like leaves all over him.

It's lots of fun! I have been many times over the years! Be sure to check out the skits (some are not appropriate for kids!). The jousting is fun. Food is great - my son loves the huge turkey legs! The 'kings nuts' are wonderful! It is pretty expensive - take lots of $$$. Take your time and enjoy your day!

My favorite is the "Vegetable Justice" area... they hurl insults at you though, so be careful! haha!

take lots of $$$. Not a lot of free stuff even after you pay your admission. And even the "free" stuff tends to have a hat or basket passed around for tips.

We went last year on the day the NC Beer Club (or whatever it is) had their day at the Faire. Got to drink some good craft beers while wandering around people watching.

Please do note these little "guidances" on the skits in the program you are given upon entry. If you have small children and / or are easily offended, there will be a few that you will want to avoid. We saw a few last year that were hysterical - but obviously not for everyone.

I've been several times, it is fun. FYI Chick-fil-a usually has discount coupons (admission for two for only $20.00) for select weekends
