French Quarter on Church Street. They make these amazing salt/pepper wings to die for, wash it down with a tall LIT. The only bad part is that they only serve the wings for their night time crowd. So anytime after 5 is good.

Mama's Pizza Express, or Killington's Restaurant, both in Huntersville.

Gotta go naked if you eat wings at Hooter's. The wings, I mean.

When I go for MMA fights, I get the garlic-parmesan wings, naked, crispy. Pretty good and not expensive, IIRC. It's been a while since I've been.

I have had wings at probably 10 different places in charlotte. Some are downright horrible like tilted kilt, some ok like wing king and then DD Peckers is clearly the best that I have had. It looks like a dump from the outside but that place is one of my favorite places to go to in Charlotte.

Hickory Tavern is over-priced and lousy food. I make my own, taste better - easy -and cheap.

For me, there is no contest with Ed's Tavern. The absolute best IMO. Not just the best in Charlotte, but the best that I have ever had period.

We love the wings at Quaker Steak and Lube in Concord. There are about 20-30 different flavors. My kids eat the wings, I have a Buffalo wing salad.

My house! I get them crispy by frying in a pan and then finish them in the oven. For sauce I just put the wings, butter and hot sauce into a large tupperware container and shake vigorously. Washed down with about 5 Dogfish Head 90 minute IPAs.
