My favorite place and soon to be my new home Myrtle Beach. 3.5 hours from Charlotte. 3 hours from Union County.

Drive times to the major beach areas:
Outer Banks (Nags Head, Duck, Carolla) 6-7 hours (i had a pet so frequent stops might have made our time longer)
Crystal Coast / Bogue Banks 5-6 hours
Wrightsville, Holden, Topsail, Sunset beaches 4-5 hours
Wilmington / Cape Fear area 4 hours
Myrtle Beach / Grand Strand 3-4 hours
Charleston / Kiawah / Folly Beach 3 hours
Edisto Island / Beaufort 3.5 hours
Hilton Head / Savannah / Tybee 4 hours
