I know what you mean. The Kings Mountain Herald publishes everything. Unfortunately it's not online.

It would be great if everyone had an online presence. Its almost necessary these days.

I know. I have a problem when I report stuff from out here, because that's usually my source. Well, they do have a weird on again off again presence on Twitter. KMHerald (KMHerald) on Twitter

I've never actually been in King's Mountain, the downtown at any rate. Although from what you tell us it seems like it would be a very nice peaceful place to live.

LOL, right now you aren't missing a thing by not getting to downtown Kings Mountain, Barking. Most of the storefronts are empty. The city has 3 nice restaurants coming in. Now they are looking to get in an assortment of retail.

I've always wanted to run a shop. If I didn't have all of the medical bills to pay off as my top priority, I would probably give it a whirl.

There's a small theater where the city sometimes will run films. They have a film festival once a year. They also use it as a community theater. I saw that they will be casting for a production of Harvey. I love Harvey! That is my all time favorite movie. I never cared much for plays, but I think that I'd like to go see Harvey. What's not to love about a 6 foot tall Pooka. . .er. . . rabbit.

I have to say that most of the people here could not be nicer. Yes, there is the occasional ahole, but they are everywhere. No place is exempt.

If I had gotten my house sold in South Jersey, before the market crashed, I would have had the money to get something small in South Charlotte. It turned out for the best to be here, because I got sick.

The cops here seem to do a pretty good job.
