Who all is ready for the winter season? I know I got a few things done such as gathering firewood. Hell, I even have the poisen ivy to prove it LOL! >.<

Got your blankets washed and heating systems checked?

How about those smoke detectors and C/O detectors? Got the batterys changed on those and tested to see if they are working?

Checked your vents and/or chimneys for loose debris and dust? Can be a fire hazard yah know. Get on it!

Got your long johns ready? I know I do!

In my neck of the woods, we've been prepared for the cold for a month already. Had snow twice and furnaces on for about 3 weeks now. Still didn't get the oil changed in my snowblower, but am hoping we get a day or two in the 50's yet and maybe I can get it done. Lakes haven't started to freeze yet, but I haven't seen anyone out fishing. This is the down side for me of northern WI. I live for the summer fishing.
