I am a 3rd year student attending UNC-Charlotte majoring in Information Technology. I am in DESPERATE need of an internship. I have been networking, went to the career center and applied to many places across the city of Charlotte. I have skills in C++, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Java(basic knowledge), Microsoft Acess, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint skills. I need an internship in Web development/QA Testing/C++ programmer or anything IT/ Computer Science related. If you know someone in the IT field here in the Charlotte area please let me know. I feel so ashamed that I am here in on this forum begging for an internship, I do not know what else to do. I do not care if the internship is paid or unpaid, I just want the experience. Just wondering...doesn't UNCC have a list of employers willing to give internships that you could try contacting?

My IT husband said to tell you to go to the City of Charlotte website. In particular he knows there are internships in the Police Dept.
