Anyone have any thoughts on the Brookhaven Subdivision? We love the homes but just want to make sure this is a stable neighborhood.

We were one of the first owners in Brookhaven back in 2004 and really like the neighborhood. The HOA is very stable with well into 6 figures in bank. There are only about 15 lots left (out of 500+) to sell. Relatively low number of houses for sale and only aware of <10 foreclosures. Our HOA has great leadership and is strongly supported, I recently resigned my chair position after over 5 years. The swim team has over 100 swimmers in the Summer and there are 4 womens and 2 mens tennis leagues each season. Feel free to DM if you have more questions.

I don't live in BH, but know many people who do....great location IMO (5 min from Promenade) and the community pool is HUGE.....kids also love the waterslide/lazy river....you also have the benefit of Union County taxes....

This was one of the neighborhoods we were recently looking at because a few coworkers live there and love it. Lots of small children, great pool and other amenities, and you have lower Union County taxes and good schools. The people we talked to also were super friendly and loved to tell us about the neighborhood. Plus the John Wieland homes are beautiful and have a great reputation. We're still deciding on what to do but we liked everything we saw there. I think the only negative I heard is about the traffic during school hrs. for the elementary school.

Re: Antioch Elem school traffic in the morning. I hit the this traffic for the first time this year, it delayed me 5 min max. Very minor issue and IMO should not be factor to consider, the only time you will hit the traffic is from 7:10am-7:25am. I just plan to leave prior to 7:10am or wait until school starts. They do have a traffic patrol to manage traffic. If you need to leave during this time just exit the back entrance onto Chestnut Rd. to avoid.
