To apply a quality grade exterior latex paint to a clean surface... air, surface and paint temperature should be above 50 degrees. So yes, 70+ degrees is fine. You want to make sure your surface is completely dry though. It is recommended that you wait 48-72+ hours after rainfall to let surfaces dry completely.

Several years ago, we had to paint our house in December to get it ready to sell. There is paint that is formulated to be used in colder weather. With proper prep and materials, you should have no problem.
