Are you asking about Charlotte or another town in the area? My town is collecting a day ahead because there is no Thursday pickup.

My trash day is Thursday and it is bumped to Friday for this week.

"Thanksgiving - Thursday, November 25
Solid Waste Services will not provide residential garbage, recyclable, yard waste and bulky item collection services. Thursday customers will receive service on Friday, Nov. 26. Friday customers will receive service on Saturday, Nov. 27."

I live in the Charlotte area, but not in Charlotte. There are many different communities besides Charlotte in the area. That's why I asked.
