We don't need metal detectors. We need full body scanners & intrusive pat downs like the TSA give at the airports.

Rough school? I went to a rough school. After they tackled the opposing team's quarterback, they went after his family.

Where I went to school if the news reported on every fight that happened they wouldn't have much to talk about. We only used our fists and maybe a blackjack, though.

Does your teacher friend get a security escort to and from their car?

I really feel for the teachers that love teaching but have to put up with these kids day after day. I am sure many of these teachers wish they had chosen a different occupation!

I honestly do not know how they do it. Especially the ones who keep trying to do what they are doing even in the face of this. Hats off to them.

Sometimes though the rumor mill at a school will even get the story wrong unless your friend actually witnessed it with her own eyes.

So a teacher at the school who did not witness the mayhem (your conclusion) but was told of the antics by an eyewitness begins a 'rumor mill'? This is how journalist at CO are born and reeducated to enable those that cannot act civilly in society.
