Anyone know of a good place to get area rugs in charlotte area? I looked at home goods but wasn't sure of any other places that would have nice rugs cheap.

I am very happy with the rug we bought at Carpet and Rug on University: Carpet & Rug Superstore Store Locations | Charlotte | Concord NC | Gastonia NC | Huntersville | Matthews NC | Rock Hill SC

This location has a huge selection of high quality remnants that they can bind. They also have patterned rugs, but I didn't look through them.

Rug and Home in Gaffney has an online store you can browse and will ship any rug directly to you. However, don't place the order online. For some reason, every time I've ordered a rug over the phone, the price is less than the one stated online!

Garden Ridge had some but none that fit my taste. I ordered from QVC. I have an eye for rugs and lighting fixtures that I have ordered online and been very satisfied. Good luck.

QVC carries Royal Palace and they are very nice!!!

Before you buy an area rug, you should check out W.O.W. They have fantastic deals. 250K sq ft warehouse strictly rugs, carpets, etc. They will cut runners for you for $8 per foot bound. Across the road is another warehouse same people full of home decor and accessories... It is on Route 9 in Lancaster SC..worth the drive.
