could be a few things:
"the grass is always greener syndrome"
or if you haven't lived other places it is probably a curiosity to see what other places can be like, it's not a bad thing = you can always go back
Go for it. Life is an adventure. I grew up in the Los Angeles area, then lived in the DC area for 4 years, and now I have been in Charlotte for 2 years. Not sure where I'll end up next or when but I am hoping somewhere in Europe. Travel and check places out before you get married and settle down.

I agree completely. Get out there and check out as many locations as you can. Nothing at all wrong with that. If Charlotte is not your match, that's ok too. You'll find "your" place, which more than likely will be many places in your lifetime.
I can relate to this. I tend to get bored with things pretty quickly. I have lived in the Virginias, Atlanta, South FL, Raleigh and now Charlotte. When I left Raleigh for Atlanta (which I though I would just love ATL to death and couldn't wait to get out of NC for GA! And guess what, I hated everything about Atlanta and could care less I ever go back to GA again. I recently moved to Charlotte and love it! And the funny thing is, I did not think I would enjoy Charlotte like this..but I do. There is no failure in trying! Life is an adventure....go out and live it up! Just make sure you have plans in place and don't make any decisions without thought and a financial plan in place. Good luck to ya!!
Totally agree with all the posts here - there are times in your life when you know it's time to move on, explore your options, learn, grow, etc. Then there are times where you want to be quiet and relax where you are for a while. Follow your instincts and don't worry about "making a mistake" - sometimes we learn the most from our mistakes and they turn out to be the best things that happened to us! Best wishes for your adventure!!
I am also going to echo the same. Explore and see other places. I have been fortunate to live in many parts of the country and the world. Life is too short go for it.
