Charlotte hit 13 this morning, a new record low for the date.

the previous record low was 14 degrees in 1937. Forecast computer models say enjoy this "warmth" now; next week will be colder! Single digits baby!

woo hoo!! I thought maybe my car thermometer was off a few degrees when i took a picture showing it at 13 degrees. Im excited, being a native floridian this is a treat to me. I even saw a few flakes of snow this past saturday. I hoping for a white christmas for all my family comnig up to enjoy the holidays with us here, and for myself!

BTW,where did youy see these future forecasts?

According to AccuWeather.com Long Range Expert Joe Bastardi, "Next week, the overall storm track appears to be ready to take a shift farther to the south over the eastern U.S., potentially allowing snow to be favored over rain, even in rather southern latitudes."

It appears that Charlotte actually got down to 12 this morning, instead of the earlier reported 13 degrees.

We have a wireless weather receiver out back and it showed 10F where I live in Concord. I figured it was an error due to a low battery. The news station said 20F in Charlotte so I figured there was no way Concord would be 10F lower. Maybe it actually was 10F in my backyard.
