You can have the ones here in VA. There's about 4 within a 2-mile radius of me, in each direction.

There were dozens of 7-11 stores in Charlotte when I was growing up. When I was a teenager in the 80's, I spent a LOT of time playing video games at the 7-11 in the Sharon Corners shopping center across from Southpark.

All 7-11 stores in the area were sold years ago - maybe in the late 80's or early 90's. (Who am I kidding? I can't remember yesterday, much less a decade or two ago. It was sometime after '83 or '84, when I was 15-16 years old.)

I actually think the Circle K's went in everywhere there used to be a 7-11. Maybe the franchisee sold out or something...

7-11 did indeed go through bankruptcy in the 80's. The Citgo gas that used to be a part of 7-11's offerings is now owned by government of Venezuela.
