sleeting in 28213 and it looks like it's sticking. No school closings here yet, lol. You all be careful if you have to go anywhere tomorrow

* LOCATIONS...THE NORTH CAROLINA FOOTHILLS AND PIEDMONT AS WELL
AS THE EASTERN UPSTATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA.

* HAZARDS...SNOW...SLEET...AND FREEZING RAIN.

* TIMING...PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN FROM THE SOUTHWEST AS A
MIXTURE OF SNOW AND SLEET OVERNIGHT. THE PRECIPITATION WILL
TRANSITION TO FREEZING RAIN DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS
BEFORE SLOWLY TURNING TO ALL RAIN THROUGH THE LATE MORNING.

* ACCUMULATIONS...A DUSTING OF SNOW AND SLEET IS EXPECTED...
TOPPED BY A LIGHT GLAZE OF ICE FROM FREEZING RAIN. LOCATIONS
ALONG AND NORTH OF THE INTERSTATE 40 CORRIDOR COULD SEE SNOW
AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE HALF TO ONE INCH BEFORE THE
CHANGEOVER.

* IMPACTS...ROADWAYS WILL BECOME VERY SLIPPERY ACROSS THE
REGION. SOME UNTREATED SECTIONS MAY BECOME IMPASSABLE ACROSS
THE NORTHERN PARTS OF NORTH CAROLINA.

* TEMPERATURES...TEMPERATURES WILL HOVER IN THE MID TO UPPER 20S
OVERNIGHT BEFORE WARMING ABOVE FREEZING LATE THURSDAY MORNING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR

You were right. Ice = freezing rain. It looks like regular rain as it falls.
