My sons & I went to Mama Fu's a couple weeks ago, and I noticed these brochures for Foodie Call - a delivery service that delivers for several restaurants. We had used Takeout Taxi in the past, and were disappointed when they folded; this is the first multi-restaurant delivery service I've heard about in a while!

Their site is MakeAFoodieCall.com Delivery's just $5 within their delivery area. Nice variety of restaurants so far!

Looks like they have a nice selection pf restaurants
I saw this on that web page by Dolce
Quote:
Funghi Combo (Dinner Only)$7.95Baked mushrooms stuffed with ricotta, spinach & sweet Italina sausages & Mushrooms stuffed with lobster and crab meat.
sounds yummy.

I wonder if the delivery fee will go up with gas prices hovering around $3.00 and expected to be $5.00 by 2012 I wonder if Ben & Jerrys carries their items in an ice box. Im glad to see options for delivery than typical Chinese & pizza. Nice list above.

This service is FANTASTIC! I have used it many times to order food from from several different restaurants that deliver from. In fact, just got food delivered from Loco Lime last night. They are very quick - almost unbelievably quick. And they send you updates to your phone or email (if you want them) to let you know when the order was confirmed by the restaurant, when the driver arrives at the restaurant, when the driver leaves, and then again just a moment before your doorbell rings. I couldn't give this service a higher recommendation - definitely worth the $5.

I'll have to check this out since I have wanted to go to some restaurants for the food and not dine in.
Haven't looked at the list yet but I hope they do sushi!
