They should have thought out resale prior to moving there. As said previously....this range was there long before the new housing.

No disagreement, just stating a fact.

I guess all the years of reading and posting on this forum, I don't recollect anything about any of this. My bad.

I suppose the developers and buyers should do more digging into where they build and buy. I am out there searcing for some new property and it now comes to mind that I should do more research as to where I look this time around.

I just imagine it sucks for the people around there. No matter who's at fault it would still be pretty scary to be outside enjoying time with your kids and hear a machine gun firing in the background no matter who was there first.

Actually Dr Land spent over 50 thousand dollars of his own money to fight an illegal ordnance passed by an over zealous town council. Since when, why does Wesley Chapel have a town council anyway? Dr Land has a legal right to own and shoot his machine guns. I wish soccer moms wouldn't block up the roads at school pick up time when there are perfectly good busses to haul their overly pampered kids, but I'm not going to try and pass an ordnance making them ride the bus.

Nah, not really. They just don't roll over and put up with the games that some of my fellow Yankee's bring with them when they come down here!

I visit people who live near there- for the past 6 months and I haven't heard anything...... Is this a constant nuisance? If so, I see the point of the neighbors. But, if it's just a few hours on a few days, is it that obnoxious? I also visited Millbridge and I heard those gunshots VERY loud and clear! I could see that being much more obnoxious as it is all the time!!

Anyway, yeah, southerns are funny, it's funny how they try to preserve there rights, both on property and rights to bear arms. I believe there is mention of the last one in the Constitution of the United States or something like that. But, yeah, Hysterically funny.

He was there first, and the firing range was there for a long time. I get that. But I don't get that he is allowed to shoot machine guns on his range. Fully automatic weapons are very cool and all, but mostly illegal.

Says who? In New Jersey? Yeah I'm pretty sure just about everything is illegal in NJ.
