Not sure and it didn't say on their website. But I'm sure it's more than $40/month. Also, the Morehead St. Y does have steamroom and sauna but I'm not sure about the others.

I work Uptown and have been going to the Childress Klein Uptown Y for the past 7 years. The exercise classes there are full of young professionals during lunch time. The instructors are very friendly and good. Every year they make the effort to update their equipments so there are always new exercise machines to try. The locker room has both Sauna and Steam Room. Hope this help!

Checked out Golds in EpiCenter and Charlotte Athletic Club the past couple days. No doubt Golds and CAC have a much different vibe and feel. Golds is glitzy and the quantity of machines they have are many. CAC has less machines, but capped membership. CAC also has full basketball courts and 2 squash/racquet ball courts. Both have what looks to me decent class schedule. On the tours you can feel the difference in vibe. CAC is looking to be about $20 more expensive after the negotiation and some may say you are getting less because they don't have rows and rows and rows of machines. I am leaning to going with CAC though and felt more of a comfortable place to workout.
