Default Rent?

Can anyone help. Where should I look for houses for rent? I have searched craigslist but seems like all houses there are in Matthews, Monroe, Concord and Ballentyne for the most part. All areas I would not mind but the rent is $1200 on avg. I would really like to get into a place in Belmont, Mt Holly or Ft Mills for $1000 a month. 3/2, next to good schools. Any other areas I can look where rent would be in the $900-1k range. Anywhere withing 45 minutes of Indepence blvd and 485. I have been searching this forum like crazy for all the info I can get.
Thanks all

Sal, you probably won't find that price in Fort Mill, maybe not Belmont either. Your best bet for finding something is to contact a local realtor or two in Mt. Holly. You need to find one who also manages rental properties. A lot of times the only way homes are advertized is by a sign in the yard.

Thank you. Do you know how I can go about finding a realtor that also does property management? I tried a google search but only came up with ones in Charlotte not surrounding areas.

Default Charlotte & surrounding areas to include Belmont/Mt Holly

Hi,
I am a full-time realtor at L&E Properties. We do cater to both sales and leasing (one of few offices that specialize in both). Feel free to contact me h@greatercharlottearea.com. I know the area well from Cornelius up north, down to Ft Mill, SC and Gaston county to the west. Our office is only 10 min from the Charlotte airport in downtown Mt Holly. thank you.
