One of the main reasons for my move is I have a 13 yr old daughter with PDD and bipolar. I was told by 2 facilities in SC to move to NC. I would like to know how the services and/or schools are in the Charlotte area. I also would like to know about average rent prices for a 3 brdm apt/home is and how the job market is if you are in Landscaping or are there warehouses? I have done research but I would like to know from people that already reside there. I trust a persons opinion rather then go by what I feel may not be "fact" in my research. Thank you for your help!!
After years as a boom town, Charlotte is also in a deep recession. Char-Meck Schools have been hit hard and have suffered deep cutbacks. I would recommend that you call or go on line to Union County Schools in Monroe, NC or Cabarrus County Schools in Concord, NC or Mooresville City Schools to get details on services. I would secure a job before moving. You can go to Charlotte.com to search for jobs. Go to Apartment Finder in Charlotte ( on line). Good look.
