I was wondering all about the park at steele creek formerly springs at steele creek.
Is it safe?
Other families living there?
Is it a desirable area?
Help please...

I'm trying to find an apartment for 700 i'm wanting either a 1 br with a den or a 2 br has to have a w/d or will rent them for cheap.
I'm not rich so i can not afford anything else it has to be 700 or below..

Matthews crossing..
Can anyone tell me which one is safest

i was doing research on apartmentratings.com and steele creek got a 85% so .. I was also doing crime mapping.

I am very concerned as i have a small baby and i'm scared to be robbed or anything happen to my child or myself. I'm from indiana so i'm not used to crime being around me too much

Not sure why you created a new thread? I answered your question on the last one

Has anyone heard of these apt complexes? Are they safe?

Let me state it more strongly for you, avoid Matthews Crossing.

The Park at Steele Creek is not my fave, but not in a terrible area.

Check out places near Pineville like Camden Habersham, some of their units have W/D and are in your price range.

Another good south Charlotte location in your price range would be Swan Run (off of Rea Road).

Let me tell you about apartmentratings... I used to read all the reviews... I only subscribe to Blakeney APTS... where I live... and it has a low rating! It is not accurate at all, I think Blakeney Apts are one of the best in this area.. Been here 3 years and haven't even heard 1 person complain about these apartments, they are very involved and have monthly activities at the clubhouse and on the grounds in the summer... Always courteous and respond to every request in a timely manner. If I were thinking about moving somewhere and I saw blakeneys ratings I may change my mind, but I guess you can't always go by what you hear... Just remember, someone is more willing to leave a negative or makeup a story if they get mad at something!! No one makes up a positive review!

Make sure to find a place on the second floor or above. This will make you feel a lot more at ease. I am a single female and have lived on the first floor and the second floor of different complexes and I sleep a lot easier on the second. ....You will have minor crimes and break-ins around any complexes, so I would focus on a place closest to your job or daycare and schools.
