Great Middle class suburban city. Alot of friendly people. Only problem are the schools CMS has ruined in Huntersville.

We're new to Huntersville since about June, love it so far.

We're hoping that with the changes in school choice that have taken place this year that some of the overcrowding in Huntersville schools will be better.

Our daughter will be going to Bradley and from what we were told by a school employee is that with the new middle school that was built in Cornelius and the change in school choice that there won't be a need for any mobile units there this year. We live near Torrence Creek elementary and there are still 8 or 10 mobiles there.

Keep in mind also that different sections of Huntersville go to different schools so check it out when you're looking at specific areas.

Mark

Thanks for the info.

We are considering relocating and schools are our # 1 priority. Overcrowding seems to the common thread.

Although we are looking into private schools, we want to be in an area with good public schools, too.

We will be in the area in Mid-Sept. and it is an area we will be checking out.

Thanks for your input.

Check out Cabarrus county schools you can live on the edge of Huntersville and send your kids to Cabarrus county schools. Cheaper taxes too.

Good Luck!
