The wife and I are going to see the Lion King tonight at the Belk Theater in uptown. Do I need to wear a tie? What is the average dress there?

Thanks!

You will LOVE the show!! As for dress, I wore nice jeans and a pimp shirt. My wife wore something colorful in theme for the Lion King. The other couple, he wore khakis and an oxford, she wore a black casual dress.

I saw a mix there. Dress how you feel comfortable or like you are going to a nice restaurant....Mickey and Mooches, Red Rocks, etc....

Yeah, you will see some people in jeans, but most will be in business casual. A tie is definitely not a requirement.

As a PAC expert (smile) anything goes. I prefer to not see people in jeans to be honest...to me, wearing nice pants and a shirt with a collar is a mark of respect for the performers, but that's just me.

Have a GREAT time!!!
