Default Remnant carpet places nearby?

I need a couple of remnant carpets for a couple of areas in my home.

I know there are some discount carpet places with remnants, but I can't remember what the names are.

Anyone know?

Thank you,

Dawn

Do you have experiences with any of these?

I know I have gone to a couple of those and they are full price retailers and say they don't have discount remnants (and they looked at me like I had two heads when asking!).....I really don't want to drive all over town if they don't have any.

I have been to the Carpet Discount Warehouse on Independence......not much of a discount! The prices were comparable to Home Depot.

I know that in the past I have had people mention where they were able to get great deals on carpet remnants but I don't remember now where I had the discussion.

Dawn

Black Dog on South Blvd. I got a couple of remnants or returned pieces from them a few years ago for my rental property. Not 100% sure they still have remnants but prob worth checking out

Thanks. Maybe I will make some calls. I just know I went on a wild goose chase last time I went out and it was quite a waste of time....up and down Independence.

I've used Black Dog on South Blvd. - just after the Cadillac dealer and close to the center of Pineville. The place is nothing to look at on the inside, carpet rolls everwhere. We had her cut a piece for our family room. She has someone come in I think once a week who does the edging.

We looked at most of the other places others have already listed and found her to have the best price.

I don't have any experience with them other than knowing they have a ton of stuff. Someone mentioned Big Lots, I forgot about Ollie's in Matthews. They have a lot of stuff with good prices.

We have been do Carpet Discount Warehouse a few times and I highly recommend them:
Carpet Discount Warehouse Inc

They are a large warehouse with the most inventory in Charlotte. My grandmother is a decorator from the NY area and she went with me once and said she has never seen such a large inventory. Good prices and really good people too.

D,

Asked this question recently on our other list. Response I was given repeatedly was Stallings Salvage in Monroe. I haven't checked it out yet.
