My sister takes this bus frequently, but it lets people off either uptown or Central Avenue. She catches it on Canal Street. The Triangle Shopping Center must be a new stop.
Thanks for the info! Same amount of time as coming down on the Amtrak, which is $200 RT and in the 40 or so times we've had family scheduled, it hasn't bee on time once. It is consistently late anywhere from an hour to several hours. I don't know how anyone can stand that journey!

Blame the Freight companies IE CSX , for not taking care of there tracks and system...
So what are these buses like? Do they have a bathroom on board like Greyhound buses or are they like school buses?
The buses have bathrooms on board and are rather comfortable. If you take a night time bus, it makes only one stop. Much quicker than Amtrak route. Personally, I couldn't do a day time trip because it makes way too many stops for me.
I ride all the time to NYC in car, the bus is much more convenient. I have never taken the bus, but I hope to do so this year with the rising gas prices for the roundtrip price of $80--that can't be beat.

Yea but your safety is at risk , these bus companies often have accidents....
Bus accidents are minute compared to car accidents. Your safety is at risk everytime you are in any type of vehicle. We are all at mercy at the person behind the wheel when we hit the road or air. I can't worry about the small stuff.
WELL, I'm back home in NJ.! I went for an Interview and to see a Condo rental Uptown. Whew, cabs out there are very expensive to get around! But needless to say I had a ncie outing, even though this egghead Chris Crawford from Carolina United Realty failed to show up and left me standing outside in NE/ university area like a fool.
I did see a small Condo in Uptown, which i think I'm going to try and get for 6 months, to familiarize myself with the area.
Yes the Triangle shopping Center is a new stop for them. Before, they let you off in some filthy parking lot in the hood.
That's why I wanted to know what was there.
I didn't bother to go there, when I saw we were uptown on W. trade, I got off and walked to greyhound depot.
This would be the 2nd time I took the Chinese bus. I didn't have any accidents...yet. They drive REALLY FAST compared to greyhound drivers.
