Can anyone tell me any experiences they've had about this place? We need a hotel that is CLEAN but won't break the budget for a stay while we wait for our house to close. We stayed at the Days Inn on Woodlawn when we came to visit (not knowing any better) and I am loathe to repeat that mistake for a whole week.

Any suggestions for clean, decent hotels in the Steele Creek area or vicinity are greatly appreciated!

Personally, I would not be be comfortable being on Nations Ford after dark. I suggest some place right in Pineville like the Holiday Inn Express, which is very convenient to Steele Creek and right near many places to eat:

9825 Leitner Drive
Pineville, NC 28134

You have choose to have another days inn experience with that chain location. Kinda sketchy.

I would suggest mircrotel I have never had bad experience with this chain and even though this one is located off bily graham it a relative safe location same for the one off sunset road both are set back away from rift raft.

I have stayed at various ones and I get same quality at each one and they all have microwave, frdge and free wireless internet.

Only drawback I have is the pillows they are small. Sign up for the micropass and every 10th night you stay is free.

There room rates are standard mostly just 49 bucks a night
