I did a search for this topic, but I'm looking for some current recommendations.

I'm looking for any recommendations in the Pineville area.

Thanks!

I second the recommendation!

She's not in Pineville, but she does do private lessons in-house. We're doing Agility training with her right now and a co-worker is doing private lessons for her two dogs.

Another recommendation for DogHaven. I'm taking agility classes too (waves to Lakeside Annie) and have enrolled my puppy in the Saturday group lessons. My neighbors have done private, in-home training as well.

There is a beginner class starting this Saturday. Here is a link to DogHaven's web site (please remove link if this is not appropriate):

DogHaven! Dog Training in Charlotte

Prices are very affordable and the quality of training is excellent. It will be worth the drive from Pineville. Good luck with your pooch!

Hey I am doing agility too with Deb! I think we are in the same class - this is Bumble Bee's mom :-)

Waves to Slakkie too! Given my nickname here, I'm guessing you know which dog is mine in class.

Mike, you will be very pleased with the DogHaven training program. And, as you can tell, once you get the basics down, consider agility. It is lots of fun and a great way to bond with your dog.

Hmm, yes, I saw that the obedience training is about 30 minutes from me and my dog(Mason) does not do too well in cars. So, maybe I'll see what Dog Haven charges for in-home training.

Depending how the training pans out, we may go onto agility training. Lord knows I need it.
