I am a bargain shopper. The only way I pay full price for anything is if it is a "must have"! So I thought I would start this thread. The idea is when ever you are you are out shopping and you see some great deals come here and share what you found!

I was in town last weekend and here is what I found:
Home Depot on Wendover: Asst windows originally $200 and up for $50! A $300 30'X60' shower base for $99.
Lowes/Southend: Pansies and ground covers for .25 cents.
Target on hwy 49 and @ The Metropolitan. Numerous clearance items in all depts mostly 30% and some %50.

I went to the Goodwill on Freedom for the 1st time and it is a Clearance center, bags of clothes were like $1.39 a pound and house ware items are 50% off every day. I found some decent kitchen stuff for cheap! Some of the furniture was pretty ratty but they had a decent entertainment center and a bookcase that were $15!

Another favorite of mine is Clines Antiques in Mt Pleasant. You can spend hours there looking at all the treasures and junk. 100-acre antique farm proves fruitful for Cline

And for food you can't beat Aldi! But there is already a thread here about Aldi. So 'nuff said.

Happy Shopping!

I love plant deals! Growers Outlet can have some great clearance prices.

This fall I found 1 gal perennials at Lowes for .50 and $1 each and bought 50 plants! Can't wait till this summer to see them.

Harris Teeter is having a 15% off cases of wine deal that starts today. I know their prices are already elevated, but might be worth looking into.

Angry 20$

Saturday, Jan 30, 10 AM
Best Buy Concord Mills grand opening:
$20 gift card to the first 100 visitors (no purchase necessary)
10% back on purchases (e.g. You get $5 GC on $50 purchase)

So . . . how long will the line be when the store opens its doors?

If someone takes a day trip that takes them up 321 or out US 74, on the way back, stop in at an Ingles supermarket. Besides the huge selection, their prices are much better than the other chains. Sometimes I'll see an item on sale for the same price, or within pennies of Aldi. The Dallas store is off 321 & the Kings Mountain store is on Business 74, just off the Moss Lake exit of US 74. They are the newest stores in this area.

No, I don't work for them.
