Ok, so since I am moving. I am going to leave my barber behind in Brooklyn.

Does anyone know of a great Barber who thrives in an urban environment...Excellent clientele and results/cuts?

Thanks again,
JE

Allan @ Central Park Barber Shop
4705 Central Avenue, Charlotte, NC

He has been there for 30+ years. He knows the entire city of Charlotte and does a great job.

No Grease, they have several shops and a thriving school here. I go to the one on Central Avenue.
704-421-1375, Andrew is great but so are many others here.
I have also had sucess with Joe at Headlines Barber Shop, located at 5622 E Independence Blvd Ste 128, next door to Radio Shack, 704537-1510. As a woman, it is difficult to find men to cut the hair--many are intimidated. Both of these shops I would recommend.

I will try these guys...I will do 1 , and then when I need a new cut, go to the other. To gauge the differences.

Thanks for all the support and assistance.

My husband goes to a barber on the intersection of Carowinds Blvd and 49 - I am not sure of the name though but it's by the gas station. We're from the Bronx and this place is as good as where he used to go to back home.

I have been going to City Barbers right up here in Uptown Charlotte. Great group and I have been cut by all three barbers with no issues. Great cut, shave the neck, warm towel, air compressor to blow the hair off of you, free beverage if you want.
They are efficient with your time which is a big deal to me because I usually do not have a lot of it to waste.

I like CB as well. Always in and out quick with an excellent cut.
