With temps 4 degrees above normal in May and 15 days of high temps above 85 I'd say you guys are already in the "hot " category.
Beautiful here in the northeast...couldn't ask for more weather-wise. Looking forward to some nice warm spells this summer now.
I'm glad for you guys! For once you don't have to spend early June sweating (much). The pattern right now is cool for the whole East...great weather. Is in the 60's all week here...LOVING IT
In the north, I hated the winters, AND everything looked dead, gray and weary. The sun hardly shined. And the ladies wore many layers of clothing.
In Charlotte, I avoid the extremly hot days (94+ degrees) by staying inside, but everything is green, sunny, flowering - and the ladies wear short skirts.
I'm very happy with my hot summers here any time. Back in Chicago just last week it was 55 as a high. I know that's a fluke, but I don't need those flukes!
I don't think I would want to live anywhere where it gets so cold that even the cockroaches will pack their bags and leave.
Neither would I ... looks like you guys had a nice crisp week of late spring weather...very nice. It was fall like up here most of the week. Going to warm up a bit everywhere now.
