Skiing anyone???
I have heard people talking about snow skiing in NC and VA. So my question is....which resorts offer the best snow skiing? I know I'm not getting Colorado skiing out here....but I imagine there must be some fun places to go. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks./

I've spent the most time in WV actually, at Snowshoe. I like it up there, very pretty and fun.
I'd like to hear about the favorite NC ones too, it makes a fantastic day trip from Charlotte....

Snowshoe Mountain is a little under 5 hours from Charlotte. The resorts in NC are only two hours from Charlotte.

My brother use to live in Denver and he compare NC skiing to a bunny slope in Colorado. Just for a heads up lol.
I agree with above poster on Snow Shoe and the other one in that location Wintergreen is another favorite of mine.
