That was a good read. It's nice to see the Observer give some props to the Checkers.

3-1 series lead. Checkers need one more win to clinch a berth in the ECF's.

Yep! And I need to see the Checkers do well since my Caps are officially off to the golf course today

Checkers won game 6 and the series last night. Moving on to the ECF's.

Although I'm a bit impartial to them defeating the Pens due to my hometown sports loyalties, I'm excited to go see a finals playoff game at TWC. Does anyone know if ticket prices have been increased due to these being playoff games?

I know what you mean...I'm a lifelong Caps fan and got some flack from people back home for rooting against Hershey in Round 1.

Ticket prices increased slightly for the playoffs and have been going up a couple of bucks per round. Tix for this round range from $20-$45 (except right up against the glass, which is $60).

You can save on the TM fees by buying at the box office - although drawing good crowds, the games are not sold out.

STH here. Its been quite a ride this season. Hopefully they can win it all. Don't forget to watch the E60 special on the Checkers and Bug Tues 5/10 on ESPN at 7pm!
