Another strong recommendation for Tega Cay Animal Hospital! Dr. Willoughby and his staff are the best.

Default Indian Land Animal Hospital!

This may be a little bit of a drive, but it's worth it. When my husband and I lived in Steele Creek, we went to Indian Land Animal Hospital in Fort Mill. Dr. Lisa Shaw or Dr. Heather Wyss were both wonderful! I'll get to why in a bit.

When we adopted our cat in 2004 we originally went to Steele Creek Animal Hospital, and for the first two visits, it was excellent. Our first vet (I want to say her last name started with a T but I can't remember it exactly since it was so long ago. She was amazing, but she moved soon after his first visit! Then, the care we would get from the other vets was sub-par. They really do not care about your pet, they just want your money...plain and simple. The receptionists always treated clients with an attitude. The last and final visit there, resulted in the vet tech scaring Mikey and causing him to HISS violently (he's never done that with any tech, just this one), and them claiming our cat had cancer (they had no proof of this whatsoever) because he was missing teeth, and wanted to charge us over $3,000 for things he didn't even need done! He's had bad teeth ever since he was a kitten, he was a stray. Anyway....

We took him to Dr. Lisa at Indian Land, and she put us at ease, even with his missing teeth and him not letting us brush whatever teeth he has left. She told us, "as long as he's eating and he's happy, he's fine." That was three years ago, and guess what....our cat is fine! They've never tried to sell us things or services we didn't need, and we truly felt like they cared about Mikey. Our last visit was when we needed to get him some sedative to give him for a move up to Illinois, which is where we now live.

We recommended this vet to everyone we knew with pets down there.

I have also heard great things about Tega Cay Animal Hospital too.
