You NC State alumni might be interested in that Char-Grill has opened in Davidson. It's a bit of a hike from SE Charlotte, but Davidson is a nice town and worth the visit anyway. Good news that we are still getting a few new eateries.

Been waiting for this.
Certainly a haul from SE Charlotte (77N exit 30), but it sounds like a wonderful thing to do this Friday.

I will definitely check it out. I think I went there once when I was in Raleigh a couple of years ago.

Finally made it to the Char-Grill yesterday afternoon and it did not disappoint.
Met a friend who also went to NCSU to complete the experience.
The only thing missing is hand writing the orders and sending down the slide to the cooks, that has been replaced with an order counter.
The place was well staffed and spotless.
A large poster in the corner invited patrons to contact them with other franchise opportunities in Charlotte (hopefully South Charlotte).
