I am interested in the British American School of Charlotte which has recently advertised a teaching vacancy. I would appreciate an information - either from staff or parents.

Thanks.

Don't know much about the school but are you from the US because it says on the website that they hire ALL teachers directly from the UK or internationally

I'm in the UK and trained here. Do you know anything about the area?

I live in Charlotte and love it. What I know and have seen in the Ballantyne area it is a nice place. I have a friend who lives in the area. There are others here on this forum that may know more about the school or have some input and I am surprised that they have not chimed in yet. If you have any specific questions I can see what I can do.
I moved to Charlotte last summer.

I looked at this school when researching privates for my children. We decided against it because they had some things on their website containing horrendous grammar. I realize this may be nitpicky, but when you're looking for a great education for your kids, you want to know that your school pays as much attention to these types of details as you do. However, I do know some families there. Some love it and others have moved on.
Sorry I don't have anything more concrete for you, but good luck in your search.

Thanks for the replies, I really appreciate it. Charlotte sounds like a a fantastic place to live but I want to make sure that, if I make the move, I'm moving for the right job and the right school. Fingers crossed!
