Default Calle Cinco

Upon calling La Torres (sponsors/creators of Calle Cinco), they indicated that it has been postponed indefinitely. I have attended this event for the 6 years that I have lived here. Really missed it this year.

Default Zeppole and Italians in Charlotte

New to this forum. Just saw the comment about the Italian Club's sign at Taste of Charlotte having Cannoli mis-spelled. Just so you know--the Taste of Charlotte organizers provide signage to all the booths. Believe me, the Italian Club people know how to spell cannoli.

Default Ciao, Italia! Festival

They even have sfogliatelle at the festival (up north we called them "sfooliadell.") Yum! Can't wait 'til Saturday!

Welcome
I love the Renaissance Festival and highly recommend it, but I meant to add a warning. If you're taking kids, be careful because some of the entertainment is a little "racy". If I recall, they even post signs around the festival warning you about that. Just an FYI..

CIAO ITALIA Festival ,
It was fun. NO SAN GENARO by any means but i had to check it out for myself.
Next time I know I'll be going just to enjoy the crowd. It's fun just connecting with some of the "Hard core" Italian's .The old timers are the best. Such passion.
Oh and the pizza toss camp was fun to watch.(even though he's not Italian) lol
BTW all the signs that i read were spelled correctly!!!
