We switched from T-Mobile to Virgin Mobile. I'm still kicking myself.

I have a litany of complaints but let me just deal with one -

I've never purchased a cell phone signal booster before. Do they actually work? I've been checking them out on eBay? Or is it a waste of money?

Input appreciated.

Thanks!

Sara

No , but I was thinking of using Virgin's monthly plans. I had one of the prepaids before , but decided to drop it. What are some issues you have had?

Virgin Mobile is through Sprint, however it only use Sprint's native network and that means it probably doesn't allow roaming, so less coverage. I know Sprint and AT&T offer femtocells ("signal booster") and that if you call Sprint, you may get a free femtocell. Femtocell connects to your home broadband service. Since this is Virgin Mobile, I really don't know if VM even offer femotocells. VM is a Sprint subsidiary, but VM customers are not Sprint's concern.
