I have read the height minimums for the attractions on the website for Carowinds. It seems that there are a lot of rides that both of my children can attempt. I am wondering if anyone has experienced the park with children of similar ages. Thanks in advance!

My boys are the same age, 5 and 7, and there are lots of rides for them to go on. There is a whole Nickelodeon area with rides for the younger kids. ALso, there is a whole waterpark with lots of water rides for the younger ones and a wave pool that is from 0 to 9 or so feet that is great for all ages. We have season passes and everyday my kids are bugging me to go!!

Definately lots for your kids to enjoy. My kids are 9, 6 & 3 and the 3 year old can get on most of the rides in Nick Central. Don't forget the water park, lots of fun too on the HOT days.

Yes, and remember, free water if needed. Just ask at a concession stand.

The only thing that bothers me about Carowinds is for adults....is all roller coasters. That's great, but not right after you eat lunch. There's no relaxing ride to keep you entertained while you digest.

My son is 8. I did the season passes this year for both of us. You can get the passes during the off season for so cheap..

Anyway he absolutely loves it. Esp the water park.

Why was this moved to Charlotte? The entrance to, parking for, and majority of Carowinds is in Fort Mill.

For example, comiong down i-77, you have to get off at exit 90, first (or last) exit in SC. You do not go back into Charlotte to get to Carowinds. Coming down 49 and going down 21 is similar. You enter SC, then you go to Carowinds.
