I just moved here from Houston, TX and have no idea how traffic is, I live and work in South Park. I am traveling to Nashville tomorrow morning and wondering which would be better I-485 to 85 or Billy Graham to 85 at 7AM.
thanks

Not sure about Billy Graham at 7:00 am but here's my two cents. Rush hour traffic in my experience goes north and west in the mornings.

Consider taking Tyvola to South Blvd and head south to 485, then head west towards 85. The traffic will be heavy for about 3 miles until you get past the 77 interchange.

Traffic may be heavy on 85 as well till the U.S. 321 interchange.

If I was you, I'd take billy graham to 85 to US 74 then to 40 in Asheville. They are working on 40 in Asheville so expect possibly significant delays.

Thanks I don't want to spend anymore time on the road than I have to!

Another thing, some people prefer I-85 to I-26 in Spartanburg County because it's all interstate. I prefer I-85 to US 74 just because it's a more calming drive.
