My husband, daughter and I currently live in Huntersville. We love it here, but my husband works in Maiden and loves his job, so we will be looking to move in order to cut his commute soon. We like the idea of moving to Mooresville (we would have to stay west of 77, though) but might also consider Denver or another town within 30 min of Maiden. Some people say that Huntersville has kind of reached its potential and the areas west of the lake will experience a "boom" next...any thoughts on this? In your opinion, which area (close to Maiden but with the suburban amenities we love about Huntersville) would be the best investment for us long-term and the best place to raise our family?
