Free picnic shelter in south Charlotte area? (parks, county)

It seems reservation is needed for the picnic shelters in the Charlotte parks. Is there any free picnic shelters (first come, first served) in south Charlotte area? or an area in a park with several picnic tables (say 5+) is also fine..

Yes they are all first come first serve, unless of course there is a reservation.

I'd guess that in February you could probably get any spot you would like.
