We are relocating to Charlotte this summer with our two young children. We love the Royden/Montibello area but none of the homes available are quite what we are looking for. We have looked at several homes in Piper Glen but don't get the sense that it is too family friendly...we haven't seen too many kids out riding bikes or playing. Does anyone have any input on these areas or any other area to consider? We are looking to stay inside the beltway for school and work purposes.
Many thanks!

Piper Glen is an upscale area. I'm sure there are kids there but probably not as "kid friendly" as other areas you may consider...you just gotta weigh out your choices.

Have you looked at Providence Plantation?

How about Beverly Crest?

Canterbury?

Hembstead?

These are all near to Piper Glen, so if you like that general area give them a looksee
