Well they did look at the number of foreclosures in a particular neighborhood. Maybe they missed yours. If you're able to appeal still MAKE SURE you mention the FC because that might hold more weight than a new appraisal. My ENTIRE neighborhood had our reval LOWERED because of this (though I think they went too far).

Sounds like there's a real good chance that they didn't know yours was in FC with the dates you're talking about. I don't know but that's what I would push.

I agree. I'm just not sure what the diminishing return is at this point.

I hope to have my early version of tax value compared to sales for the first 5 months of the year done next week.
