1. Is the community so disconnected from one another that members of it have to be arrest before the rest of them behave like civilized adults? Is this community that morally bankrupt?

2. You describe a ceremony with a history of a significant portion of its audience acting like jackanapes and you feel it is the schools failure to control these adults, not the responsibility of the adults to act like adults. But this behavior doesn't manifest itself anywhere else in your town and couldn't possible impact the ability of a teenager to make better choices than the irresponsible collection of adults around him?

I am curious what 'town' you live in? Not a single person in 'your town' ever misbehaves? And if they do - it is the fault of the 'town'?
