Did anyone attend yours?

Ours seemed rather poorly attended, but it was also about 540 degrees outside with 1000% humidity. No, I don't exaggerate any!

Anyway, we had a good time at Marvin Ridge High School. I ended up winning a 13 week subscription to the Charlotte Observer, a $10 gift certificate, and dinner for 2 (up to $75) at Firethorne Country Club!!!!!

Good night!,

Dawn

We were there too! How funny! We may have walked past eachother! We showed up late, though....too darn HOT!
I also thought there would be a better turn out.

national night outs do not make sense to me I know the meaning is good but if it so for crime prevention wouldnt it be better to have them in their own neighborhoods? Otherwize if everyone goes to a school or shopping center hosting the event well that is perfect time for a crook to hit your home.

Default National Night Out

We had a walk in our neighborhood (Moss Creek), my husband just took over as Chairperson for our Neighborhood Watch Committee. We only had about 20-30 people including kids but alot of people we talked to didn't come because of the intense heat. Can't say I blame them. Today in my car it said 108 degrees!!!

I KNOW! Many complained to our counsel that it would have been better attended had the weather been better or had it been indoors.
