Hello all! I have been looking for a WHILE now, and have come up with nothing. We are a family of 5, with 2 excellent dogs, looking for a home to rent for a couple of years with fenced in backyard in the Lincoln county school district. Our range in what we can afford is $1000-$1200, as we would eventually like to buy our own house. I have looked on craigslist for 2 months, and tried "googling". I've come up with nothing. Or, it's a modular home, or only 1 bath....

We are still somewhat new to North Carolina, does anyone have any tips? Or suggestions??

Thanks!!!

Cleveland County & Lincoln County both have good schools, but that does not mean that every single school in both districts are gems.

Where's the job?

Look in Kings Mountain & aim to get them in either East Elementary or West Elementary. North Elementary is good too, but East & West are highly rated in the state. Oh, & the elementaries have preschools.

Also, look on realtor.com & yahoo real estate. Look for rentals.

You're welcome. If you feel that Kings Mountain is too far from where your husband travels to, I can give you an area in Gaston County. Hopefully someone from Lincoln County can chime in.

The house next door to me is for rent; though, it's probably out of your price range. It's being rented through Hecht Property Management. Maybe they have others that would suit your needs?

I recommend looking in Iron Station or Boger City.
